Multilink
As a natural consequence of our military and procurement based experiences, many of the multilink integration programs that Atheniem has been involved with are C4I centric Air, Surface and Land based systems.
Atheniem’s multilink project support in the Air, Surface and Land domains includes: Concept definition (which encompasses TDL interoperability analyses, including network architectures, communication structures and Information Exchange Requirements definition), User Requirements and System Requirements capture, System Specification, Development, Integration and Testing, Acceptance, Assurance and Sustainment (through-life logistics/sustainment and withdrawal).
C4I Systems
Atheniem’s founders have an operational C4I background and we continuously use this experience to help our customers find effective solutions.
Our experience extends across many disciplines in the Air, Surface and Land domains and includes: Ground based air defence systems, human factor integrations, network and communication systems, air traffic and detection systems, guidance and attack systems and secure platform identification and navigation systems.
Platform Sustainment & Interoperability Management
Atheniem’s consultants have a thorough understanding of the sustainment of TDL platforms including specifying and establishing an IO baseline, interoperability evaluations, interoperability assessments, configuration management, standards management.
Our consultants are practitioners in the interoperable Systems Management and Requirement Transformation (iSMART) process, which is the United States and United Kingdoms mandated process (and widely accepted use within NATO) for TDL interoperability assurance.
Test & Evaluation
Atheniem’s Air, Surface and Land test & evaluation experience extends through all phases of the testing lifecycle. Test support to our customer’s platforms has involved test planning, authoring the test strategy and Master Test Plan, producing test scripts, test management during execution, analysis and report writing.

For our global customers Atheniem’s consultants use their expertise and experience to impart their knowledge during the provision of training across a wide portfolio of subject matter. Management Support
Our staff include many experienced managers and leaders and our team are competent and experienced in the management of bids, requirements, projects, sub-contractors and engineering teams across the complete acquisition cycle. We can demonstrate our ability to lead and manage bids, research, develop, design, provide procurement / tender support and conduct trials and acceptance of CIS, surveillance, electronic warfare and avionics systems.
Our experience and expertise is founded on many years of specialist knowledge gained through extensive military service and working in a variety of commercial organisations, and is sustained through keeping abreast of advanced technologies and operational changes to the modern evolving battlespace. Furthermore, our staff are suitably qualified in their respective technical and project management disciplines, being recognised by formal accreditation bodies such as the Association of Project Managers (APM), the Institution of Engineers and Technologists (IET), the UK Engineering Council, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
